Impact

Temperance Welfare Foundation is creating waves of change in rural Rajasthan through its education initiative. Operating 19 informal schools in slum areas, the Foundation is reaching children who were once out of school and overlooked.

With activity-based learning, trained local teachers, and free study materials, over 700 children are now gaining literacy, confidence, and a brighter outlook on life. Many are reading and writing for the first time, while families are becoming more aware of the importance of education — especially for girls.

This grassroots movement is not just about classrooms — it's about breaking cycles of poverty and building futures. The impact is visible: better attendance, reduced dropouts, and rising community involvement.
